Well, here I sit writing on my iPad from my bed at Sunnybrook Hospital. Yes, I got a bed this afternoon! it all happened so fast all of a sudden. It was pretty overwhelming to have to get ready under time pressure. I got all weepy and my emotions went all over the place for no apparent reason. I wasn't scared or worried. I just can't multi-task or do things under pressure these days. Then my brain just kind of freezes over and I can't think straight especially if I'm tired.
Anyway, I got admitted and shown to my room: Room C-248 Bed 2 , right by the window with the late afternoon sun streaming in! I have my sunglasses with me and might actually need them here in the afternoons!
I like this room. the quilt looks Absolutely beautiful in here! the more I look at it, the more beautiful it seems to become! And it looks cheerful and cozy with some books and cards sitting around. this bed is very comfortable and the nurses are very friendly. What a lot of blessings!
